Rock has worked in the close protection industry for the last thirty two years, twenty four of those years was employed by Mohamed al Fayed as his bodyguard, bodyguard for members of his family and a manger of twenty close protection and residential security team members world wide. For the last number of years Rock has protected Russian Oligarchs, multi-millionaire businessmen, royalty and celebrities.
Rock has taught all forms of response to attack strategies, drills and techniques to over 1000 bodyguards working on low to high risk contracts.
While serving in the military Rock instructed close quarter combat techniques to troops going up against Russian Spetsnaz Special Forces.
Rock is a graduate of the Professional Bodyguard Association and Dean Training and has been involved in close quarter combat since 1978, teaching civilian, close protection, military and law enforcement personnel.
Rock is an Ex-Military Close Quarter Combat Instructor, holds black-belts and instructor ranks in various fighting systems, is a Registered Self Protection Instructor with the British Combat Association, an Instructor with the Self Defence Federation and is an ABA Assistant Boxing Coach.
CB. Instructor
Active in Iraq 2003-2005 commanding a PSD team in Baghdad, training local Iraqi close protection teams and ran the security for an Iraqi telecom call centre and training the guard force.
CB has 14 years service with the Royal Marine Commandos and is an experienced instructor teaching marine recruits, weapons and tactics. CB served as a reconnaissance troop sniper and special weapons escort with Comacchio Group, is a graduate of the Professional Bodyguard Association and alongside his role as an instructor on the VIPA Tactical Training Courses, CB is a qualified first aid instructor and assessor and is employed operationally as a close protection operator.
